How to Meditate?
Meditation is simply the connection with consciousness. We are always conscious of everything but usually what happens is we are not conscious of that fact.
What is being conscious of everything? Consciousness exists even if you are not aware of it. Therefor you exist as a conscious being. At every moment we are conscious even when we are distracted by other things. But even the fact of being distracted is being conscious.
And consciousness is ever -present. Present in everything, every living being, at every moment of space-time. Consciousness IS always.
Meditating is just connecting the focus to consciousness, being aware of it. Doing that we let ourselves being aware of all that is. We start by our body, our thoughts, feelings and emotions. We go from that to whatever is there, there in consciousness, whether is sound, smell, presence…
We accept everything within consciousness. Yesterday i had a stress moment and my meditation wasn`t easy to start with. To many thoughts, my brain was hyper active. So instead of get rid of all the thoughts, i just said: welcome thoughts, you are truly welcome. They just vanished, vanished! As i accepted them they got happy and stopped. Later on some thoughts came, i just let them be, the more i fight, the more they come, So the best way is always accept what comes.
We should not meditate having expectations, that`s the best way. If we want to do an energy exercise within meditation, fine. But to meditate is not to focus on an intent, it`s just to connect with consciousness and the rest comes. If you want to empty your mind that happens as a result not as a starting point. Same goes with peace, love, understanding, gratefulness…

Hi everyone, Meditating is a great way to control your mind peacefully and create inner healing. I did watch this YouTube channel, OMG it was the beginning of me having a beautiful nature sound connection and a relaxing sleep. note: I do practice Spiritual and Visualization meditation.

“We should not meditate having expectations,” You are right that is the best way. To begin with, meditation is not to attain any specific state but to become aware of the present moment experience.
